40-Hour Peer Support Training

This state-approved 40-hour class is designed for individuals who want to become certified peer supporters. It meets all the requirements set by the Montana Board of Behavioral Health for application for the Certified Behavioral Health Peer Support Specialist (CBHPSS) license. Tuition ($850) is covered by the MSU Office of Rural Health.

If you can't attend, please let us know before July 27th, so we can open the slot to another student.

Attendees must attend all days to complete and receive a certificate of completion.

Travel Reimbursement is available through grant funding for those who need it (i.e., Mileage and/or hotel).

There are camp style cabins available on site for those who would like lodging the night before the training

Schedule:
The class will be in person once a week for five weeks on Tuesdays beginning August 4th, 11th, 19th, 25th, and Sept. 1st. (Note Aug. 19th is NOT A TUESDAY, but a Wednesday).
